Saturday October 22 SCIT food distribution

Mino Giizhep (Good Morning) all:

We appreciate the support we have received and once again our volunteers have answered the call.  The semi-truck from the Greater Lansing Food Bank will be rolling in tomorrow for a food distribution on Saturday, October 22, 2022.  Cars will start to line up after 9am and distribution is scheduled from 10:00am -12:00pm.  The event will take place at the Black Elk Government Complex parking lot and will continue until food is distributed.  

Please be advised that there will be produce and meat that will need to be given away that day and please help spread the word as we are targeting getting food to 300 families. This distribution is open to all residents in Isabella County and all that is needed is a government issued ID with current address. Please see the attached flyer and share with anyone or any organization that could use the information.

Volunteers are needed from 8:30am -1pm and will be used to help with traffic, setup and clean-up, registration and assisting with the food distribution. If you would like to sign up please email Public Relations at publicrelations@sagchip.org or call (989)775-4076 to sign up.
