SCTC Campus Building Renovation Groundbreaking

On April 5, 2023, The Saginaw Chippewa Tribal College hosted a Main Campus Building Renovation groundbreaking at 5805 Pickard Street in Mt. Pleasant, Mich.  SCIT Public Relations Director Erik Rodriguez introduced Council member Diana Quigno-Grundahl  who offered a blessing of the ceremony for SCTC students, staff and community.  Former SCTC alumni, Tribal Chief Theresa Peters-Jackson and Council Member Lucas Sprague, offered welcoming remarks along with SCTC President Carla Sineway  and SCTC Board of Regents Chair Jordan Fallis.

Remarks were also given by  from Saginaw based firms Spence Brothers Executive Vice President Preconstruction Brian Keeler and WTA Architects Project Manager Paul Haselhuhn.  SCTC students stood with the community as fellow student Wesley Hale shared an Migizi (Eagle) Honor Song on his shaker.   The Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Council joined SCTC faculty and staff for the renovation groundbreaking photo.
