Duve, Sandra K. - of Mt. Pleasant, age 51, died Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Central Michigan Community Hospital in Mt. Pleasant. Funeral services will be held at 1PM, Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Birch Run. Rev. Clifford Schroeder officiating. Burial in the Chippewa Indian Cemetery in Burt. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10AM until time of service.
Sandra was born August 9, 1960 in Saginaw, Michigan to Robert and Carol (Green) Wheaton. She graduated from Birch Run High School in 1978. Sandra was a member of the Chippewa Indian Tribe. She enjoyed reading, crafts, singing, gardening and travel.
Surviving are: 2 daughters: Carly Lepisto of Vancouver, BC., and Lauren (Travis) Weiss of Winter Springs, FL., Grandchild, Roisin; Mother: Carol Wheaton; 4 sisters: Elaine Wheaton, Laurie (Norman) Yaklin, Carol Wheaton and Tammy (Chad) Larges.
