Annual Powwow
The SCIT Powwow Committee is looking for your assistance on hosting a Princess and Warrior Pageant at the SCIT 40th Annual Powwow July 26-28, 2024. We are looking for interested people to be part of a sub-committee for setting up and helping with choosing our powwow royalty. The sub-committee would like to bring back the contest and would require some knowledge and manpower from the community. Interested parties are encouraged to attend the first start-up meeting held on Tuesday, February 06, 2024, at 3:00 pm location at the Tribal Operations Black Elk Building.

Due to the number of interested participants, the meeting location has been moved to the Saginaw Chippewa Tribal College, 5805 E Pickard St, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858. Please plan on attending Tuesday, February 6 at 3 pm in room #238 on the west side of the second floor.
